- While casinos are allowed to reopen Friday as the province permits Niagara to enter Stage 3 of its recovery plan, Niagara Falls’ two gaming halls will remain closed. Under provincial guidelines, casinos are permitted to open, but must abide by significant restrictions including capping indoor gatherings at 50.
- The operator for Niagara Falls' two casinos is working on a plan for reopening and what that will look like in the 'new world.' In a May 22 letter to associates obtained by the Niagara Falls.

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino’s phased opening is set for Thursday, June 25 with Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino opening the following week on Thursday, July 2.
“After this unprecedented and unsettling time in our community, we look forward to welcoming back our dear guests and friends,” said David Sheridan, Interim CEO and CFO, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “The health and safety of our team members, guests, and their families continues to be our highest priority.”
